I've never heard of them. Google wasn't any help either. I'm curious now, though.

could you post a pic? Evil Cowboys sounds right up my alley
Never heard of them, but now I know what I want to do with some of my skeletons. :cool2:
I would like to see these, it'd be cool to have some new knockoffs to be on the lookout for? Do these seem vintage or fairly recent?

Hey,
Was introduced to them on a mego-like site years ago - have a watch in Ebay for one if it ever comes up - have not seen one in the last two years. I have no information on them except that they look really cool.
If you ever want to sell it. . .

I'm thinking they used to have pics of these up on the old Mego Central (you know, back when it was a cool site). They might be able to tell you more about them.

The One they had On their site Was Mine. I Got It 7 Or 8 Years Ago. It Sure Looks Like It Is From The 70' S If I Can Figure Out How To Post A Pic I Will . Or If I Can Email Pic To Somone Smarter Than Me And They Can Post It.

I Think these came out in the early-mid 80's ,when everyone though Galaxy Rangers and specially Marshal Bravestar cartoon & toys were going to be a hit. They weren't!
THE ARTWORK looks like the villian from Bravestar =Tex Hex
and the're 7 inch tall which is the size of Bravestar figures.

How is the body? Is it like the CTVT skeleton or is it more like a Mego body?

Does Not look like dollar store but maybe Woolwoths or Zayres maybe Ames
I Was Told They Were European, Dont Know If Its True
Sorry to drag up an old thread but I can add a little more info. I don't know if the were of European origin, but they were sold in the UK (in Zodiac Toys if memory serves). There were also a couple of army versions along with the cowboys.

That figure is too cool Gort,.. I'd love to see the rest of the line or the packaging.
I'd love to be able to help but he's the only one I'd ever owned and the packaging is now long gone. The only other thing I know is there are no makers marks on the figures themselves, which doesn't exactly help.

The hat and holster look like they came from LJN molds.
They do indeed. I really just wanted to use the word "indeed". But I agree with ABMAC nonetheless.

See, CTVT should do things like that.
What CTVT should do is hire a quality control department...

Come on! That's not fair... You know that when you think "Mego wish list" you think new Fonzie variants and I Love Lucy.

Evil Cowboys Rock!!!!! I have a vague memory of seeing these for sale in a Schnucks Grocery store back in the 1980s but being low on cash passed and never saw them again. Can anyone confirm this?

Does anyone still own a carded example? I would love a clean scan of the card so I can make some customs.
