    Fear the monkeybat!

    Now, HERE'S something....

From one of my favourite web comics; Sequentialart:

    ...Scarlet! Ta-dah!

    "I yam an action figure!!!"

What makes this custom unique is that it's built on a fully custom, articulated 7" female body. Shown here with an 8" Bulletman, for scale. (Bulletman head and helmet by GMAN.)

    "SHINEYHED!!!!"
    "Please, go away..."

"Why is your hair so pointy?"
"Why are you not wearing pants?"
    "...'Cos it's Summerytime!"
    "Well. There you are."

    Dredd STILL gets no respect:

"OOOOHHHH! Can I wear your helmet?!?!?!"
"NO! And get off my bike!"

She's AWESOME, Don! Are you gonna offer that body for sale? I'm finally finishing up my custom with the ghoul head I got from you, hope to post it up this weekend.

      Hmmmm....

The 7" bodies are an INCREDIBLE pain to make! But I had to make this one. (I made three Scarlets; actually. Two are meant as gifts.)

There's probably gonna be a sequel to this one; when I get the next batch of customs done. If you've read the comics I linked to, leaving Scarlet to her own devices is probably a risky idea. (And the Mangler is still around SOMEWHERE....)

very cool work on that body!! I really like the staging of all the figures, too.

You make some of the BEST off the wall customs. I love the anthropomorphic ones you do.

The custom work is brilliant, but the character creeps me out.

                    >But did u kill something for that tail?

Funny thing; I made an extra for a friend of mine who's not only Scarlet's biggest fan but IS Scarlet; and the first thing she saw was the tail. I think she was taken aback a bit....

It's made from two pieces of fake fur, cut in a sort of hook pattern, sewn together, with a wire loop running through it. (FUN FACT: If you keep the presser foot down on your sewing machine while sewing fake fur you WILL spend the next twenty minutes digging thread and fur out of your sewing machine!) The wire is tied at the end (the tail is anchored to it) and the two ends are attached to the hip piece.

                    >First a rabbit, now a squirel,

...don't forget the cat. The next two will probably be cats as well.
