Methinks this Vinyl Caped RC Batman is a fake

I got a little excited till I started looking at the cape a little better. I have no vinyl cape to reference it with, but looks like the whole thing was hand cut. I'm pretty sure in picture #3, I can see where the pattern was drawn on the scallops.

Plus, this cape never came with RC Batman that I know of.

Yeah, those scallops look completely uneven and ragged. And I don't believe the RC Bats ever came with a vinyl cape either.

I'm not sure if the seller is intentionally trying to rip someone off though, as he's showing such nice clear closeup pics. Maybe he's just clueless about the issues?

The old "selling it for my cousin" is said to distract any blame from him. I think it's fake. I think this guy knows what he is doing.

That IS a fake. Vinyl Batman Capes don't have a rough surface like that one does. The 2 that I have handled in the past are smoothe. Closes thing I can compare it to is the same material that is used on the Captain Action Batman capes. Definitely a FAKE.

I don't know anything about the vinyl cape for Batman. I'm Glad to hear everyones thoughts on this auction though. I would definately stay away.

still a great price for original rc bats.i'll have to watch this at the end to figure it out.i don't think they are deceiving anyone with 100% feedback and full refund if not happy.

i agree with you.i bought from her alot in the past.she is terrific to deal with.i might be leary of some people but not this one.

Ya know that may have been a cape and box I made a long time ago. Not sure, could be.
The chest sticker looks like one of mine as well.
I can't see the gloves if they look like they where melted to gether by hand they where mine.
