    Today, we go back 30 years (!) to the 1977 True Value Toy Catalog to look at some of the hot items of the day, it was a banner year for toys with memorable items such as Telestar, Stretch Monster, Fuzzy Pumper Barber shop, The Sunshine Family, Pulsar, Charlies Angels and so much more.......

    That truly was a great year for toys. Looking at this catalog makes me realise that I actually had a huge portion of these toys featured. I was 4 years old, so I was getting the action figures like Super Joe, 6M$M, and Shogun Warriors, as well as still getting the preschool toys like Fisher Price Adventure People, and even that Oscar the Grouch pull toy! Seeing this also makes me realise......man I was really spoiled! Haha.

      I had the Bionic Woman. And I have Tippy Tumbles now, as well as the SMDM and Pulsar.

          After you're done with the 1977, go and check out the 1978. It really goes to show the effect Star Wars had.

            Does the Lone Ranger have on a yellow shirt in that pic? Did Gabriel make any variations on the Ranger's clothes (besides the accessory sets)? Or was this shirt from an accessory set?

              Play-Doh still makes the Fuzzy Pumper,don't they? I thought I saw one in the stores not that long ago.
