I noticed that on the following page...

Star Trek The Motion Picture Gallery: Mego Museum : Mego Corp (http://www.megomuseum.com/startrek/sttmp.html)

someone (Robert Doyle?) had a 3-pack set of the 3 3/4ths aliens, yet those are not the 3 pictured in the American J.C. Penny's ad that is shown here...

Mego Museum Library (http://www.megomuseum.com/megolibrary/department/jcp803.html)

Therefore, does an earlier or a little later U.S. Penny's (Or other dept. store) catalog page exist that shows a different 3 alien set, or is that 3-pack actually a foreign-bought 3-pack set, or did Mego just run out of Rigellians and decide to throw in Megarites? Because I was always under the assumption that the Megarite, Zaranite, and Betelgeusians were only sold out of the U.S. Help?

I dont know about the three pack, but all of the aliens were sold on cards in Canada and most of Europe.

I don't know why but I feel like I may have the answer to this at home in my catalog stacks.

My dad was in the military, and we had just moved overseas in the fall of 1980... so my brother and I got all of our Christmas toys ordered from that same Penney's catalog. I got that Star trek Aliens set, and I got the same figures pictured in the catalog: Klingon, Arcturian and Rigellian.

Might be a typo, but it also states on that same museum page that JC Penny sold a 4 pack of trek aliens.
