It was a half hour show.... made by the WWF

      Broadcast around 1984-ish

      It had NO WRESTLING

The show was set up like Letterman.

Vince and Lord Alfred would host and it was a comedy talk show for wrestlers.

Many wrestlers would even appear OUT OF CHARACTER.

It also featured funny wrestlers sketches....... including "Fuji Vice" ... a take off of Miami Vice but starring WWF wrestlers

I think it was on USA channel.

It lasted for about a year

Yup classic WWF stuff! Ran on USA from 84-86. But wasn't it an hour show? I don't remember any WWF shows back then being only a 1/2 hr.

Besides "Fuji Vice", Mr. Fuji and Don MUraco also did "Fuji Bandito" and a couple of other genre spoofs.

I have some old TNT bits on tape and some favorites are the electro-shock therapy that Dr. Sigmund Ziff did on George "The Animal" Steele ("How now brown cow") with Capt. Lou at his side and the time when the managers were
trying to get free agent "Macho Man" Randy Savage under contract. Bobby Heenan, Fred Blassie and Jimmy Hart all offered their services to Savage. (This is different from his first wrestling appearances when the manages, all of them, floated around ringside watching the new prospect).

McMahon was eventually replaced by Okerlund but by then it had lost it's charm.

I remember they had questions from the audience at one point (many of the audience members were the same week after week) and there was a lot of ad-libbing from the bad guys.

            I found this on youtube.

The video is the classic Roddy hitting Snuka with Coconut sketch on Piper's Pit........

But the end of this video ends with a Roddy interview on TNT.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

I remember the night when Paul Ordorff finally turned on Piper, grabbing him and giving him the pile driver. That was one of my greatest wrestling memories, back when I still kinda thought wrestling was real.
