Cigarette Burns by Carpenter is excellent. Very weird.

And Deer Woman by Landis is hilarious! (A wigwam goes to the shrink and says "Doc, sometimes I feel like I have a split personality", on which the shrink says "I know what it is. You're two tents!"...collective groan by the Mego Forum....)

But I have to say: I find season 2 terrible. Saw four stories, and disliked each one.
The show started great, but went downhill real fast. The one with Englund is totally annoying to watch...

And some of the new directors I hardly even know, far from being a "Master of Horror".

Pelts, The Black Cat and The Washingtonians are all from season 2, how can you not like those? You're an idiot

I wanted to like Black Cat so much, but it felt more like a comedy to me.
I love Jeffrey Combs, his make-up was great, but the show was a farce.
I didn't see Pelts or the Washingtonians yet, because I called it quits after buying two season 2 DVDs I didn't like.
So you might be right. Or not.
But the good news is: if I don't buy them anymore, there's more for you!

Big Edgar Allan Poe fan, so I might be biased, but I'd rather think you're full of it
I taped The Black Cat, haven't found it on DVD yet. Media Markt?

The first episode of the series, "Incident off a Mountain Road" is pretty good. It feels a little rushed but the acting and story are terrific. It was directed by Don Coscarelli of PHANTASM/Bubba Ho-Tep fame, and [shameless plug]written by my good friend Stephen Romano[/shameless plug].

Agreed. In fact, Moonface deserves his own movie, he could be the next Freddie or Jason or Mike Myers

I'm slowly working my way through this series, I recognized Jenifer as being from an old Warren Story by Bernie Wrightson and Bruce Jones. Some good old fashioned monster romps in there that I'm enjoying.

Just hit the Takashi Miike episode and I can see why they decided to ban it! I'm familiar with the guys work, and even this was pretty shocking to me. I think he's managed to outdo Audition in the "disturbing" category.

I WAS kinda curious to see it, until you said that.... Now I'm just scared.

I can handle some pretty harsh horror, but this story was just too much.
Audition is a Disney movie, compared to this one....

Just watched the Argento episode and thought it was pretty good. Looking forward to the one with Jeffrey "The Reanimator" Combs.

I recently saw the Joe Dante episode with the zombies. Not bad, but about as subtle as an army boot across the face.
