What was the best New Series season finale ?

Last night I had a bit of a strange marathon .....
I watch all three Doctor Who:The New Series season finale's.

To refresh:
Season-1 ...... Daleks and Chris Eccleston dies
Season-2 ...... Daleks vrs Cybermen
Season-3 ...... The Master

Which one did you enjoy the most ?

For me, it has to be season-2's finale...... You just can't beat Daleks vrs Cybermen

Season-1 was no slouch, mind you ...... I liked that one a lot too .

Season-3 ....... was "ok", but I wouldn't give it any higher marks than "ok".
I love the Master, but the story itself just didn't feel like a series finale story.

I've only read the season 3 ender right now but it would be hard to top Daleks VS Cyberman, that whole exchange between the two is possibly one of the best bits of the entire series. Daleks talk some smack!

Did the New Series make Daleks more indestructible than the classic series ?

It seems to me, in the classic series it was much easier to knock off a Dalek.

I think the new series made them more menacing, although I also think they've been overused.

Overused, yes ... absolutely

But remembering the old rumours of what they might have been .... (the new Dalek design rumours between '95 and '05))

Everytime I see them on the screen----- I just can't help but think --- This is so cool.

Oh I'd forgotten about the Spidertanks and all that, it would have failed to screw with their design too much.

Yeah, they are harder to kill now, as they have a force field.

Season 2 - Daleks vs. Cybermen. I want to see a re-match but remember the Cybermen in this are from the parallel world where they were created on Earth. Would not the Cybermen of Mondas or Telos be more of an even match for Daleks? And would they have their ear-muffs back?

I have seen drawings of the Spider Dalek concept I think. It's in the book Regeneration which chronicles the road to the 1996 Fox tv movie. I'll scan it tionight and post it here when I get home. The Dalek panels sort of open up and reveal the creature inside.

Ah, I thought this would be about TV Shows in general.

I would have voted for the Heroes finale.

For Doctor Who, it would have to be the Cybermen versus Daleks. Topped by the tragic loss of Rose, which gave it a good emotional arc on top of the slam bam action.

I liked the the second season ender the best (Daleks, Cybermen and goodbye, Rose!)....Delete! Delete! Exterminate! Exterminate!

I'm not too fond of the third season ender...It was a bit too...I dunno...Silly (shrunken apple-headed Doctor is rejuvenated by the psychic energy of the people of Earth and then he displays god-like powers)...It just seemed like they were trying way too hard to top their other season finales.
