Brian and Scott supplied all the photos for this, and it turned out really nice! At the end, they thank us (not sure why they mentioned me, since I didn't actually do anything but respond to their e-mail!) and included a link to the Museum.

Terrific article! So many great lines --
"He has found manna in the wasted desert of his life...The child is seven years old and he is finally complete."
"From that point on, there was no stopping Mego, and the parade of new Marvel action figures was not only imaginative, it was downright kick-."

great pictures! I envy those who can take pics of toys like that. It aint easy, I know I've been taking pics of my toys for some time and it's hard to get pics like that.

That's a pretty sweet looking header they have for that article.
Excellent article. It's nice to see the license holder acknowledge the history. Great contributions picture wise as well. Way to spread the love guys.

Very cool. If you notice, the Thing, Torch and Hulk pictures are the original shots from the trading cards, I gave them a choice and they went without the Mego Museum artwork, not surprisingly.
That was a very fun read and awesome pics ;)
included a link to the Museum.
Shame they spelled the name wrong

Very cool. I never knew that an employees kid gave them the idea to do spidy, the most popular figure.

it's weirdly validating to see the Marvel Comics logo on a photo of your collection. The guys at Marvel are awesome and I'm really excited to see such things happen.

That was cool! Plus, that's my Thor on the bottom of the page. Does that make him more valuable now? "Seen on Marvel.com"

What a great article! I like how they give credit to Mego for being the first to come out with 3-dimensional figures of Marvel characters. I hope it directs soem more younger people who did not grow up with Mego to start collecting.
That is a fantastic piece! Congratulations to everyone who made it happen. A nod from Marvel... truly a proud moment for Megoville.

I suppose thinking that this could maybe open up some doors would be wishful thinking...
Everything old is new again. Don't count Marvel or DC out. Someday the time may be right for a comeback.

I think it's cool they referred to the Megos
As far as Marvel ever giving the go ahead for new Mego constructed figures
---well, stranger things have happened & I've always thought it might come
around as other companies have embarked upon classic toy replicas.
Money equals money---- business is simple that way---figuring out what
motivates Marvel (or DC or Paramount etc.) to do anything is pretty cut & dry

Very cool!
Found it and got a little ahead of myself, even though it was old news for the board (especially since there was a shout out to Scott, Brian, and Joe).
Please pardon me for being:
1) Extremely thrilled and
2) For jumping the gun and starting another thread (three days later) when this one existed.
