    New Mustang project

Well the 69 fastback is here. I finished the motor 351 cleveland with roller rockers, middle race cam, 750 holley Double pump I milled the choke off. Dyno at 460 HP. Now working the body. Just did the floor pans and worked one quarter and the engine compartment. This car is razor straight. Just wanted to post some before pics for a change.

Just thought I'd share with the car buffs.

This is pretty close to what it will look like when I'm done

Without any unforeseen delays, how long do you suspect it will take you until it's totally finished ?

Also, when done ... are you going to keep it, or sell it ?

This babys a keeper. Well I have about 1-2 months finishing the body, the it will go to paint. The I have to put it together with a new interior, electric. drop the engine, rebuild tranny. rear end. ect changing from manuel drum brakes to power disk.
Prob about six months on that stuff plus all the crap I left out. But it will not be consistant full time work. I do have one older guy that will be working on it off and on when I'm not able to though.

Are you going with the stock rims , or something a little more modern?I know thats a ways off still, but the right rims makes the difference.

                            Probably the magnum 500's http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa...magnum_500.htm

But 16" or under. I like the old school look, a lot of rubber around the rim.

One thing that makes this shell so cool is, if you look at where I took out the rear window, It is super clean, only one spot will have to fixed. There is usually a lot of deterioration there. You can also see the oringinal color.
