I used to go to their store in Cranston RI and the guys who ran it then were always nice.

I didn't check the FB on ebay but I think it's odd they would get 4 in 1 month though. If worse comes to worse you could Make Mike (batmanmc) go get it for you as he's close to them still. I live a little further away now in MA but Mike's only 20 mins from them:biggrin:

Check the seller's question and answer section. Someone offered him $800 BIN and he turned him down.

I think it's funny that the knock off is worth so much more than the real McCoy Spock!

It's rare and all but it's still not really a star trek figure. I don't collect strar trek so I guess I don't see the appeal but good luck to all who do.

IMO, the beauty of this figure is exactly that it is not Star Trek, but a crummy knock off.

I love this figure......

Always amazes me when peeps call a 99.7 rating a crapshoot. Seller has 6 negs in the last 5700 transactions. They do over 1000 exchanges a month and that's just what is left in feedback. You can basically double that number for the real total.
With the maroons that are out there on ebay, I would say that is extrodinary feedback.
What would concern me more is the 73 mutaully retracted feedback.

$610 with just under 2 days to go, should be interesting to see where it'll end. Unfortunately we can't see who's bidding, so if anyone here wins it, let us know

I'm sure that the 6 people that gave him negatives were thinking the same thing.

So bascially you're saying that sellers with a 99.7% apporval rating are untrustworthy?

Out of curiosity, what is your feedback percentage?

With a seller this prolific, research is always useful in making a decision you can live with.

After looking over a few pages of his feedback I get the impression that his big problem is slow shipping and no communication. I saw a couple of 'not as described' feedbacks, those are the ones that worry me.

With that in mind, it's possible (although I'm just guessing) that the retracted feedbacks are from users who didn't get their item as fast as they sould have, couldn't get a response from the seller and gave him a neg figuring they were getting screwed. Seller retaliates. Then a week or two later the item shows up so they both agree to withdraw their negs for each other.

Just a guess.

But you know, I've done business with sellers who had sterling feedback and had nothing but problems. I think all eBay transactions are a crap shoot to one degree or another.

Ok did you apply for reimbursment, and did you wait for 60 days. Did you send a certified letter with a photocopy of the money order & the paystub all filled out to the seller.with a letter
asking , had they received this Money order, please notify me by e-mail or post.
If you did not, I will file a complaint with the postal service that it was stolen , Please notify Your local post office, or the Post office where you purchased the MO.
Then wait 30 days.
If you do not still get anwser, photocopy everything! kept the orginals in a binder , and certified mail the copies to the Office Of the Postal Inspector of the post office.with a cover letter
stating that you purchased an item, you try contacting seller, in the form of e-mails and mailed letters
and gotten no awnsers. Please investigate. Also call your local district Attorney and the Local District Attorney of the Seller, that you believe they are operating a fraud through the mail system.
Believe me you done half their job.

Wow indeed, the last bid cost the winner $3000 (could have been a few in between that didn't make it of course).... Same guy that won the auction for the repro boxed reissue Monsters at $300+ ... Hope this works out better for him :)

Super rare or not, I just don't see the appeal of this figure being that much more than so many Megos, and I appreciate knockoffs more than most. To each their own I guess.

>Super rare or not, I just don't see the appeal of this figure being that much more than so many Megos,

Collector drift. If you're a hardcore collector it's the getting, not the having that counts. Someone with that kind of jack to spread around has probably already amassed a good collection of rare Megos and is looking for their next thing.
