You know that brings up a stupid thing I did when I was in high school. My uncle gave me a 59 gibson and it had some scratches on the finish so I decided to take it to wood shop and sand it down. Totally messed it up and I think that it was sitting in a closet at my parents house and my mom tossed it out. Only found out because a high school buddy of mine remembered I had it and asked if I would sell it to him. Asked my mom and she told me they tossed it when they moved to there new home.
