But....why is there a General area then?

I want to share this with people who are fans of one of the greatest men who walked the face of the Earth, John Lennon.

This song was written and performed by a man some of you might remember as Rick Springfield. Nice guy, still appears on Soaps for fun and has a new album out.

The song is aimed at the monster/loser who took John's life on December 8th, 1980. Listen to the lyrics, funny and very fitting!

Sorry, as soon as it flashed the picture of that Nobody Who Shall Remain Unnamed, I turned it off. I resent that a complete NOBODY is given any sort of notoriety for killing John Lennon. His name should be banned, and anyone who knows it -- or knew him -- should have a memory wipe.

As much as I like Springfield (I used to watch GH with my sister back in the day; she was a big fan who saw him in concert twice, had all his records, posters, etc.!), I've avoided following Wraithdemon's link out of concern that I'd have to look at whats-his-name and start thinking about him. I saw the movie about him with Jared Leto; that's enough of that guy for me,thank you.

Is there perhaps a vid of the Springfield song that is "pure" in this sense? Anyone?
