I've thought about adding a spell checker to the board, but the ones I've seen just aren't that good - and, as noted above, there are other alternatives. I use the Firefox spell checker, which automatically highlights misspelled words, but if you use another browser, the Google Toolbar is a good alternative.

I use firefox as well, but it doesn't work for me in the quick reply box for some reason. I'll check and see if I need a new version.
