Recently redid my giant BATCAVE and Dida-sized it...instead of using the same prints that I previously used, I pretty much updated everything and added some more trophies and "easter eggs".

We start off with the closed playset. It's two sections, with a carrying handle on the top section. The top and bottom are attached with removable straps on the front and back....

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave1.jpg

Once you remove the straps, you can lay the playset on it's side...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave2.jpg

Big doors pull down from each section to create the floor. Sections can be spaced apart to maximize play area...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave3.jpg

You can then attach the extra Trophy Room walls. The exterior of this section showcases the Giant Penny and Dinosaur....

And inside, we find Batman with his spanking new Bat-Computer (with Dida's swapable view-screens)...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave5.jpg

To the right of the Bat-Computer is the Bat-Cave's Atomic Power Source and portions of the Trophy Room...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave6.jpghttp://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave7.jpg

To the left of the Bat-Computer is the Bat-Lab and portions of the Trophy Room...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave9.jpghttp://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave10.jpg

The 2nd half of the Bat-Cave houses the Mego batmobile as well as older models of Batmobiles, Batplanes, Batcopters, etc....

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave11.jpg

To the left and right of the vehicles/cave exit, there are portions of the Trophy Room....

The Cave Exit, Exterior Shot...

http://www.the-toyroom.com/-Batcave14.jpg

But it's actually a false front, that isn't attached and flaps down to reveal the real exit....(Thanks to Mr. Dida, Scott Adams for the tip)

Really neat graphics! Are there shops that do the vinyl sealing like that or do you have a machine that you have yourself? I have access to a laminator, but this is different, isn't it?

Staggeringly impressive, Anthony!!!

Your Fortress of Solitude playset, which I thought was terrific, cannot hold candle to this deluxe Batcave.

Well the Fortress playset isn't as big as the Batcave but I think it holds up pretty well against the Batcave...:yeah: Plus, it's much brighter in there...Bats needs to stop with the gloom and doom and spring for some fluorescent lights. :smiley1:

I am the happy owner of one of Toyrooms pre-DIDA-ized Batcaves and can verify they are BAt Tastic! As soon as it arrived I had to dig out all the Bat toys and spent hours playing...errr...I mean SCRUTINIZING the set, and found it to be phenomenal. If you can find the room, set it up in conjunction with DIDA's Stately Caverns playset. You'll have so much fun you may die!!!

You are amazing!

Do you do 12" stuff? Something like this would be cool as a wall paper to put up as backdrop on a figure shelf -- sort of like a 36" long ATHQ scene.
