Do You Actually Use Any Of Your Vintage Stuff?

I was filling up one of my 70's McDonalds glasses with diet Dr. Pepper when I started to, once again, admire the graphics on it. I'm not sure why, but I still get a little joy each time I use them. I also have a King Kong glass from the '76 movie that I enjoy. That is when I'm not filling up one of my 7-11 Slurpee cups with a cold beverage. I also keep a Batman-shaped transister radio in the bathroom I use in the shower (gotta listen to the news before work )

What vintage stuff do you guys actually use rather than simply display?

I like to collect and wear a lot of vintage shirts (minus any with large collars), jackets and coats from the 1940s up to the 1970s. Some WWII U.S. coats & jackets, a vintage 60s Levi's denim jacket, a lot of work shirts, chambray shirts and western shirts. Anyhow, I wear all of it. I just make sure I take good care of them and always have them dry cleaned. They never see the washing machine.

I use several carton and hero glasses. I also have a few extra Mead Marvel folders and note pads that I use instead of legal pads. Serveral vintage boards games are put to good use on snowy or rainy days.

          Define 'vintage'.
I work next to a guy who's half my age and 'old' stuff to him is the 80's...when he was BORN!

So by that definition I use my 'vintage' underwear quite often.

I have a 70's DC Flash glass that I use very often. I got it at a yard sale and the red is faded, so I don't mind using it. I also have an 80's Hulk glass I use sometimes.

I have a 1978 Star Wars pillow case I use (my wife was going to send it to good will just last week!!!)I will ocassionally use other vintage stuff but those are the everyday items that come to mind.

I use a few of the moon series Pepsi glasses and 2 I got at the WB store regularly. I also got some Super Jrs. fabric off ebay (I think it use to be curtains). There was enough for my wife to make me a pillow case that I've been known to use, usually with my travel pillow.

We still use a lot of our old board games like "Which, Witch?" and "Battlestar Galactica." I also bring out my Rock 'em Sock 'em robots for the kids, too. I also have a few type 2 Megos that the kids can play with, too. Also, some SSP cars.
                              It's all good!
