Hey everyone, hope you're all gearing up for a great "4th"! If it will ever stop raining here in TX I'm hoping to be breaking out the smoker.
Anyway . . . The Ft. Worth Museum of Science and History just opened the "STAR WARS: Where Science Meets Imagination" Exhibit and Nathan and I went to check it out yesterday. If it comes to your town I strongly recommend taking it in. Lots of great props, costumes and technology tie-ins.
They have the full size Land Speeder from EP:IV and the famed scaled version with none other than the Kenner Six Million Dollar Man under Obi Wan's Cloak. It was cool to see it up close. I told my son about it and he didn't quite understand, . . . as he was telling a freind about it
yesterday . . . .and I quote, "one of the figures was worth Six Million dollars" I didn't correct him . . . it was too funny!
Finally, they had one of those "green screen" picture opportunities with various sceens you could put yourself in. Although very tempted, I passed but here is my son the Jedi:
Thanks for letting me share!
