Big Love is nice. Cloe Svegny is a hoot. Entourage is fun. True Blood was ok by the end of the season.

Showtime has been kicking their butt lately.

Lost and Battlestar are back this month.

I've never had HBO so never watched any of the original series until just recently. I got a couple of boxed sets for Christmas, and while they are not new, they are new to me. Been watching Carnivale and Deadwood, both of which I'm really enjoying and wish they were still going.

Aside from John Adams, Band of Brothers, Sopranos...I really haven't watched any of the HBO original programming. I have seen a few episodes of True Blood but not really my cup of tea.

Right now, my favorite premium series is The Tudors on Showtime. Finished watching Season 2 about a month ago and it is really good. It also gives some life to true historical events and adds a little perspective as to what was going on during the reign of Henry VIII.

Yes, very true...Dexter trumps anything HBO has to offer right now...including the frustrating True Blood (which I like but it gets on my nerves as well).

Followed by The Tudors and Californication.

I like Dex a LOT, never miss an episode. But it's a touch too fakey for me. The sister, wife and boss---most of the supporting cast all get on my nerves. But he rules.

I can't wait for the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I like Flight of the Conchords a lot, too, but it seemed to lose a little steam towards the end of the first season... like they ran out of songs or something.
