RIP Bernie Hamilton (Dobie from Starsky and Hutch)

Just heard he had died. He was 80 years old.

I always wondered whatever happened to him. It's a shame he was not interviewed on the extra features of Starsky and Hutch's season one DVD release.
Captain Dobey was just as important to that show as was Starsky, Hutch, and
Huggy Bear.
