    Captain America

Here's one of two 4th of July customs I cranked out. Cap sort of follows my theme of reworking a figure's design. I used the 40's movie serial and Ultimates for inspiration. I figure Cap would still use WW2 gear even now with the Avengers. His shield is indestructable, but I thought maybe the paint isn't.

Here he is with the shield in storage on his back

and for the how I did that, its easy: Magnets!! I mounted a metal plate on the shield where the straps were, and a magnet on the harness and a harness with a magnet on his arm.

He's a repainted Hasbro Cap, recostumed and all I retained from the Hasbro figure were the gloves.

Man, I absolutely love your style, all those accessories are way cool.
Great idea of using magnets to attach the shield to his arm and back. And the scratched paint is a nice touch too. The shield may be indestructable, but the paint isn't, great attention to detail

The magnets are a brilliant touch....
