Yahoo posted an article from Rolling Stone about this, and I'm still not sure if I think it's cool that some people are trying to make a difference or laugh because, well,they're dressing up like superheroes. Noble; yet silly.
I'm not sure what I would do if a cosplay hero showed up to give me some roadside assist. I suppose I would let them have at it if I needed my tire changed. Beyond that - well....

Hate to say it, but I was thinking the same thing. Somebody dressed like that walking around a tough neighborhood is just asking to get the stuffin's kicked out of them....at the very least.
It's great to do stuff like this for charitable purposes....visiting sick kids, old folks homes, hospitals, etc.. Actually patrolling the streets looking for criminals is also admirable in a way if its done like a block watch kind of thing. Thinking they are going to go all "Batman" on a perpetrator....time for a visit to the local rubber room.
