anyone see "Marley and Me" ?

It was a really cute and funny movie,I thought Owen Wilson was funny as always and Aniston hot as always.I don't know if i'd take any kids to watch it though

    SPOILER BELOW SPOILER BELOW!!!

The last 20 minutes or so it's really really sad, especially if you're an animal lover.I actually cried

We saw it last nite. Apart from a cute dog bit here and there, the movie was pretty boring. I mean, nothing really happens except for the usual life events for these people.. new job, new baby, another new job, another baby, whatever. *Yawn* I can see where the book might be a thoughtful, relaxing read, but it really didn't translate into a particularly entertaining movie.

The end is indeed sad, but it borders on manipulative with how long they drag it out.

The movie is about the growth and changes a man and his family go through over the life span of their very naughty dog, who they got as a puppy. I give them credit for not glossing over how hard it is to deal with the end of life issues of a beloved pet, but they just seemed to REALLY drag it out.

The dog acts pretty much just like mine except for the eating of the furniture,i guess that's why i found it so entertaining

ugghh, another sappy dog movie. I've gone thru dog life issues, don't need a movie about it.

I hope the movie does well, and I am glad you liked it but I don't need to see a movie about a bad dog. I like Aniston, & Wilson, and I love dogs, but I find no ammusement in chronic bad behavior with pets or kids.

I just saw it this afternoon. Really liked it....yes, the ending is a tearjerker...especially if you've gone through something like this, but overall its a great story, with way more depth than your generic "Beethoven type--big dog destroys things" film. Probably one of the best films of this type!

I've never read the book and won't be seeing the movie. But my mom is into that kind of stuff, and she was really gung-ho to see it. It sounds like the movie might have focused more on the couple's relationship than the book did.

The ending will keep me away. I've still never watched Old Yeller.

Man ... I knew it was coming, but that end got to me ... and I had my nieces with and their friend ... so not only did I have to keep from tearing up ... I had an 11 year old crying a 14 year old crying and my oldest niece who is 19 had some red eyes going ... but at least she started laughing at the other two for crying and that kept me from crying lol. A good movie for it's kind, but for sure I wouldn't take little ones.
