Sad news, she was "'pur-rrr-rrr-rrrr-fect" as Catwoman. Loved those rolling 'r's!
It's also kinda neat & fitting that her best known song SANTA BABY has probably been playing all over the place the last couple days.Comment

Eartha Kitt was my least favorite Catwoman. (Sorry, just have a thing for Lee Meriwether. I think she's the only reason I watched Barnaby Jones). It was bad enough as a kid trying to figure out why Darrin looked different on Bewitched but to have Catwoman go from Julie Newmar to Lee Meriwether and then turn black and nobody noticed...that was hard to understand. LOL
She will be missed.

Damn.....that sucks! When I was a kid I LOVED Julie Newmar as Catwoman and was taken aback when Eartha Kitt took over the role. My mother always insisted she was the better Catwoman. I still disagree with her to this day on the matter but I came to appreciate Eartha's perfrormance much more than I did as a kid. A true legend.
