How do I get the helmet off of the EMCE Romulan?

Is it glued on or something?

It's not glued, but judging by this thread, it's on there tight and some paint may have dried the helmet to the head. I guess you just have to work the helmet off with elbow grease..

My second won't come off either, I got it to move a little bit but I see a bit of silver on his lower head now.

They are almost glued stuck on not just a tight fit stuck on.
The paint sticks to the helmet inside and it pulls off the vac'd metal on to the head.

Is there a spot of glue or something under the bridge of the nose, were it meets the helmet? I haven't tried taking mine off, but perhaps warming it up with a hair dryer would loosen it up enough.

Try running the head under some warm/hot water. The heat of the water should make the head smaller for enough time that you should be able to pop the helmet off. I've used this method to pop heads off of bodies...shrinks the neckplugs ever so slightly so that it makes it easier to pull heads off of the Mego bodies without ripping the neckplugs. Hope that helps.

I found if you squeeze (or smoosh if you prefer)the head first then let it return to normal the helmet comes off easier. Havent had any where the paint stuck yet though....

Mine's stuck too, but I don''t wanna break the helmet trying to force it, so it stays on.

Mine was tight but I got it off. There is a slight bit of discoloration(?) on the back of the head from the helmet. I keep my helmet in the bottom of the package between Rommie's feet.

Warm water should make the head more flexible.
