    1966 Batman Batboat

I haven't done a custom in a while, so I think for 2009, I will finally do up a 1966 Batboat - Mego scale. I plan to make two, one to keep, one to sell. Once I get started I'll take photos of the progress.

Sounds like a fun project. Can't wait to see the results.
Too many toys. Not enough space!

I started one many months ago, but not being able to find the right color I stopped working on it. But I really should get back to it

What kind of boat is it? Or is it like the batmobile -a one off prototype?

The Batboat was made using a Glastron V-174

Oh...that looks like it's going to be a lot of fun!! To build, and then play with.

Looks to be a cool project to do. If I were you, I'd pick up the Polar Lights Batboat model kit. It would be a great source to work from. Here's a few pics of my model with my custom vinyl decals:

Of course my decals can be sized up to fit a larger kit like you are going to build.

Thanks. I know it will be a challenge, but I think it will turn out okay. I will be using the Polar Lights Batboat for reference as well as photos.

                        Sounds like a cool project!

........Didnt Megotu make a Batboat wayyyyy back when? I dont believe it was TV series accurate, but it was cool....He also has a neat Batplane using a M&C Toys fashion doll plane that looks just like the 1940's Batplane.
