How do I dye DM's bodies?

Has anyone ever dyed DM's bodies with the RIT dye?
I know I can get brown bodies on his site or buy a POTA Soldier ape figure, but I got an extra flesh colored body and some brown RIT dye.
I know he uses RIT dyes to color his parts as he mentions it on his site, but how is it done?
How long do I boil the parts, what concentration of dye etc??? Does the body gotta be taken apart or can I thorw it all one piece?

    Thanks for any help,
    Lynn

Doc can answer this question best, but I do recall one thing from seeing some of his bodies dyed in the past. The arms and legs, since they are a different material than the torso, end up different shades. Not sure if that's going to matter to you for what you are doing, but it happens.

I've purchased quite a few of Doc's dyed bodies and the results are mixed. Green and white are fine. But red and yellow are a little off. For yellow the torso is basically still white and the arms & legs are barely yellow. Red is ok but the torso is an orange/white mix.

The key to dyeing the bodies with Ritt is to use a whole bottle of dye
with double the amount of water and boil it on a stove.

If you want a light color like yellow, use a white body. Flesh bodies
work well for red, brown bodies for black.

When the pot is bubbling, submerge the body in and stir it around for
a few minutes. You need the boiling sustained heat to dye the torso
and pelvis - which are ABS plastic. The arms and legs will take the
dye quickly because they are PVC (like the heads).

Rinse the body in cold water to cool it down and dry it throughly.

            Thanks guys!!
Doc, does it matter much on wether I use powder or the liquid, I gotta full pack of powder left over.
I used to use powder to dye me RC car parts back in the day.
