    EMCE Heads

Hi Everyone , I haven't gotten the EMCE Reissues yet , So I have a small question ? Are the EMCE Heads Rotocast or Resin ? I assume they are Rotocast. I have had some people try to tell me they are resin. Thanks !

EMCE heads are Rotocast I'm pretty sure since they squeeze; as are a handful of the Classic DM re issue heads.

Doc does make Cast heads but they are defined as such on his website

Thanks Spotter. That's what I thought. I just had a comic book store guy trying to break them down and tell me that is one reason I shouldn't get them. I figured they were rotocast. I think he is actually concerned about how this will affect the value of his originals . Honestly who cares, unless you absolutely want the originals.

I think it has little if any effect on the cost of originals. It may increase demand for some people new to the mego lines, but the emces while great toys, still aren't and can never take the place of a genuine mego. But then they aren't supposed too.,IMO.

I agree nothing can ever take the place of the originals. On so many levels of course. I see the reissues of the Mego's whether CTVT or EMCE as cheaper alternatives for those who chose, but for me complimentary pieces to add to my collection. I remember My first mego ....The regular 8" Batman , That was a great B-day for me. I still think that if ever was a chance to see the WGSH reissues, It just wouldn't feel the same, but for my son that feeling of opening a brand new batman , I could relive that day through him.
