NAW...., Just How ObiWan Lied to Luke SkyWalker ,.. I think he's hard at Work Making a Movie Based on His Opinions.

but, they really WERE the droids that they were looking for...weren't they? a whole other movie if those stormtroopers wouldnt have been so easily influenced by the force....

thunderbolt
Dec 15, '08, 5:12 PM
Yep, SW would have been a lot shorter if they weren't so influenced by the midichlorian infested OBi Wan.

:smiley1: shortest movie ever...20 minutes...obi wan - "oh, these are the droids that you are looking for"...ST - "great, now let's take them to Vader and he can destroy the rebels."....end shot...yavin blowing up...credits....end of story, end of rebels...im just joking around, i love star wars...everyone's lives would be a bit different if they werent around...maybe for the best(?)..lol...

without Star Wars, we wouldn't have the prequels to kick around, tho. :rotfl:

Well I still Don't believe ObiWan Lied to Luke , He told him the Truth,.. No 5 Page essay rant on a Doll Forum will change that. :silly:

I look forward to the Movie,.. perhaps that may weigh my Decission on the Matter. :smiley1:

^^ Only two of them. Well, 3 if you count that idiot Qui Gonn. Technically its all his fault anyway.

Qui-Gon Jinn was without a Doubt the Biggest Idiot ever In Star Wars. Everything Negative Happened Because of that Guy. :smiley1:

& I like the Prequels....

I got it,... It's because of Qui-Gon that ObiWan Lied to Luke,.. & Therefore it was Qui-Gon's Fault . Qui-Gon Spoke to ObiWan Beyond the Grave,.. & told ObiWan to do it.

... It seriously makes sense now, .. Blame it on the biggest Idiot in the StarWars Universe,.. & there will be Balance to the Force & that Debate.

And why didn't Darth Vader think to look on the planet of his birth for Obi Wan and his children? Too obvious?

^^ There's holes so big in those scripts I could drive a Star Destroyer thru them. Sideways.

Actually a Star Destroyer sideways is narrower then it would be rightside up, unless you mean the length turned sideways then that would be bigger. all this boils down to actually writing something out over 20 years later and deciding on improving on what went before instead of sticking to continuity already established. Star Trek got meesed up too when Rick Berman decided he didn't have to pay attention to anything from the classic Trek.

More importantly why did this thread get away from the Batmobile question people.... YOU ARE OFF TOPIC!!!!!! SHAME SHAME.

Guys, guys...

I'm still here. I haven't gone anywhere.

I know I've been quiet as a mouse the last couple of weeks (due to my teaching obligations). But I AM still alive and kickin'.

And rest assured The BATMOBILE is still on my work bench.

I've been affected by the same economic downturn as everyone else, and admittedly that has slowed progress on the car... BUT IT HAS NOT HALTED IT!

This car is by far the greatest customizing challenge I've ever faced, and it is requiring every last bit of my modeling abilities (and a considerable amount of my financial resources to pull it off.

But my custom Batmobile WILL happen. That I can promise. I'm pushing with all my might to FINALLY make this car a reality before 2009 ends.

Oh... and I promise not to get distracted from my work by writing any books about my opinions on STAR WARS' franchise superiority or on Obi Wan Kenobi's being a liar, liar pants on fire.
