I can remember seeing these in my local drugstore and thinking "Really?". I was dumbfounded that Mego, the company that made the funnest toys of my childhood has resorted to this. I watched Love Boat regularly too.

Now I collect them, it's probably more of a sarcastic thing, I'm not even sure anymore. I have a full set on Canadian cards, yeah nobody cares....

It's just I'd never actually spend the money and time to get 'em.

I have fond memories of the show. It's nice nostalgia.

Anyone ever come across the large white plastic-form playset for the 3 3/4" figures? I picked one up at a flea market a fea years back and the thing is huge. Ill have to see if i still have a pic of it somewhere.

I once had one of those 'space hero' figure from Pac Toys (I think I gave it to Brian), that was a Buck Rogers body cast in purple with the Love Boat Bartender's head.
