I did a google check using the words in the header of this auction, but didn't find anything relevant to it. Anybody tell me what line this from? country of origin? etc

Hmmmm....

It's gotta be some weird knockoff, since that's a recoloured RX-78 Gundam head. Looks kinda well put together for a knockoff though.

The body looks exactly like a GI Joe/Action Man body...

Maybe something just for the Japanese market?
I like the swivel biceps. I'm happy the new Cast A Way Bodies have them.

it's from the UK, Tommy Gun was a knock off of GI Joe and the first Fighting Yank shared the head I think. They also made a Captain Scarlet version of Tommy Gunn. Cool toy, no great website for him that I know of though...

But there is! Tommy Gunn (http://tommygunncollector.wetpaint.com/?t=anon)

The Tommy Gunn head was "borrowed" by the second Fighting Yank and by a Mintex clone. Check out these cool Knock Offs (http://kumamoto.cool.ne.jp/voodoo65/knockoff.htm)...
