Hey guys. The Star Trek figure sets are on sale at FAO.com for $19.99 each set. I bought the Spock and Andorian set. I work at FAO in my local Macys, so I got my employee discount also. It worked out to be like free shipping. Very cool. They have some other figures on sale too. Check it out.

Thanks for the upgrade about that for us! I'll get another complete EMCE Star Trek crew & Aliens from FAO.com used for display with custom U.S.S Enterprise playset made by MegoScott by next year.
I'll replace EMCE: Dr. McCory with sick bay short sleve velvet blue shirt, Captain Kirk with green long sleeves shirt seen on TOS TV series, 2 Scottie bodies with shirts & pants and with other Mego or CTVT heads used for 2 securities, 5 Romulan and 5 Andorian armies with Dita Alien display playset style with clear plastic slide window made by MegoScott will looks great in my Toys room collection! (used for my back bedroom without bed. So, that'll have enough room for the Toys collection).

Thanks for posting this. I have to admit it is a kick in the crotch to Diamond by FAO.
FAO is selling the figures for about what Diamond is wholesaling them to their
customers - and without the requirement of buying at least a case of 8.

Selling them at such a low price is a kick in the crotch to all the retailers who are trying to support the line, not just Diamond. It makes it seem like the either the figures are not doing well and FAO is trying to blow them out, or every other retailer that carries the product is price gouging. Neither of these scenarios reflect well on EMCE.
WOW! Awesome deal.
I just bought Muggie from Doc (who delivered within 5 days of placing the order :) )
I paid the same for him alone as for the set at fao
BUT
Fao is fao and doc is a friend and the source of the figures - it is worth a little extra to:
1.) get the figure fast with someone to contact if there is a problem
2.) put money in the pocket of a friend rather than the man
3.) support the source of the figures to encourage future figures
I like to save $ like the next guy so I would probably be tempted any if I didn't already have all the figures.
Live Long and Prosper.

Talk about torturing me:
I buy a lot from these guys (PlayCom) in DVDs, CDs, etc.
But they do NOT ship figures to mainland Europe, only the UK.
Why oh why?
So close, and yet so far.....

They are in their closeout section. Not moving fast enough for them. They are struggling and closing most mall locations. Have a small display in Macy's now and their flagship NY store.
Wont be long before they are history. People just are not buying the toys from the overpriced stores anymore.
And I just bought the last four at my local comic store for 15.75 each!

They closed the mall stores several years ago. The big stores are still there in NY and Vegas. They opened over 200 stores in Macys since the fall. And the plan is to continue. Not all stores are staffed though. In the Detroit area, there are 3 staffed and about 6 smaller unstaffed stores. Sales have been low, but picking up. As for overpriced, the items are more money than TRU, but they are a higher quality and will last longer. I just sold a stuffed Elephant for $700 this week, so someone still has some dough in this tough economy. The stores in Macys don't carry action figures. It is geared toward the younger crowd. I was surprised to see this stuff on the website.

You're lucky....My Local FAO Shwarz (NYC) were all sold out of Cap'n kirks. However, one of the reps told me that he believes that the Cap'n Kirk they had was from the 1st issue. He also stated that the Emce ST:figures were selling very well....mostly to adult collectors. As he was restocking the pegs for the Emce ST section; Wow!!! I swear there were at least 15 carded figures on each peg (I've never seen so many Star Trek figures at once like that) and all for $9.99 @. I picked up Uhura and Mugato (two for$20)....Great deal!!! :juggleyes_y:

Gee, I spent some time yesterday trying to find a discount code other than free shipping and wasn't successful. So, I placed my order. Now, I just found a 20% off discount code (HOLIDAYSALE) which expires tomorrow. :googly: Anyway, hopefully others could use it.

Nope.... It's one or the other, your only allowed one code at a time.
Shipping stayed at $14.95 for both 8 and 10 figures, so I took the 20% off deal for $20 off of the total 10 figures.
