Not many movies can still keep selling toys two years after their debut but I guess that's why Star Wars was such a phenom. The kenner toys were kind of in a state arrested development by this point, next year would see Jedi and tons of new toys but at 13, I found much of it too "muppety"*. Star Wars figures piqued at Zuckuss, Bossk and IG88 for me. It's all about the bounty hunters baby...

Are those Candian prices, Brian? $54 seems a bit high for an AT-At, even with 1982 Stagflation...

Yep! This is from Consumers Distributing, I have no concept of the exchange rate at the time but Inflation was bad back then.

I was just thinking the exact same thing :shocked2:

I think '82 is when I started to lose interest in Star Wars. Didn't get as much stuff then.

"Let's just stick some nondescript space guns in there with the Star Wars merch"

"Sounds good Frank"

That second one looks like the one I had. Got it around the time Star Trek II came out. Would pretend I was shooting Khan and his flunkies with it.

Yeah, '82 was about the height of SW for me, too. For Xmas '81 I got Slave I and the Falcon, so that spring endless bounty hunter escapades ensued in my backyard! When Jedi came out in '83 I still collected the figures, but I didn't really play with them from sunup to sundown like I did in those heady, hearty days of ESB.

Muppety, eh-heh-heeh-heh-heh.....

I don't have to pay a royalty for saying that do I?

WOW! Sans the guns I have everything on the page! 82'-84' were great years for toys for me!

I loved the Micro collection peices! They were my favorites! Plus when the bulid-a-model sets came out I got a couple of AT-AT's and AT-ST's and had me some rebel crushing fun!
