    Robin - Bob Kane Style

Here is one I'm in the middle of right now. The head is a sculpt I painted which came from my bud J (aka BlackKnight) who does incredible work. The body is currently a LJN spare I have on hand and the outfit is a rough Mego Robin outfit with a repro emblem just for presentation purposes at the moment. I'm working on a custom outfit that explores the old age look of the character.

Took a stab at some dramatic lighting on the first shot to give him that "vintage" look.

With the curls, I thought Mego's was a Bob Kane type sculpt. But that's even more of a Bob Kane type sculpt. Nice.

Looking back at BK's heads list that one was advertised as Lion Rock size. Isn't the LJN body 8 inch?

From what I have seen LJN is the 8 inch variety (like Swat and Rookie figures) and Lion Rock is the Teen Titan size. The Tim Drake head (which I am also working on) looks to work really good on either LJN or Lion Rock bodies. The Bob Kane Robin I have profiled here, I'm not sure about. I do know it fit snug in the LJN body and appears to be in scale.
