i just found out today ill be made redundant dec 18th...
my family run business has been going for 100 years :yeah:
not sure exactly what to say, feel a bit numb, i know ill make it through a few months as i have toy stock to sell but after that it'll be curtains for me
if i attempt to buy a toy from you please tell me no its sold even if its not, ill always have the compulsion to buy but now i wont have the money :no:
got my health and my 2 girls thats what counts :yes:

@ bry... i know man... ill always be tickling with toys, its an obsession but the job was my stability my backbone income since i retired from djing... gonna be real tough now
will speak to you on the pm fella regarding our dealings, we will alway have a deal on :yes:

yup loss of job/income
thanks to the global meltdown we lost half of our customer base and now our supplier tells us they are shutting doors, with no supply we are high and dry

Well I know the feeling as everything tends to be normal and then the next day its over.I have been there as well,and also gives a new chance do something different.Everything happens for a reason to everyone,and good luck!!!

yeah its kinda odd, my great grandfather started the business and now with me the 4th generation its ended
i know its not my fault but it just sucks why it had to end with me
i know ill survive it feels good to have support from mates all over the world, the likes of folks ive never met

Good Luck. Lost my job 3 years ago around Christmas...wasn't even given a warning or notice.
You will bounce back. I did and found an even better job just a month later. Everything happens for a reason.
