This is one of the few good reality shows that I watch. I cannot find anything abou this season, and it usually starts the week after the Fourth of July. CBS.com isn't saying anything and Tivo isn't showing anything.

Does anyone know whats up?

The wife and I are both fans. Dr. Will was the best all-time player soo far.

Ratings have gone down the drain here, the last one seriously bombed. And thank God

Same here. It`s on at the moment and it is floating around like a dead duck on a stagnant pond. Complete waste of airtime if you ask me. They stuck a whole female `cast` in this time and then after a few days put one guy in, and guess what? He was gay (like nobody saw that coming :wink_y: )

I only watch a couple of reality shows but my wife eats them up and this is one of them.

I have seen commercials for it and I think the new season kicks off July 3rd.

You would think they could find someone a little more interesting than Julie Chen....she is a complete yawnfest. Maybe I'm feeling a little old in my late 30's with wife and family but I just can't relate to most of the immature 20 year olds that typically are cast for these shows.

Watched the first season like slowing down for a car accident. Pretty much decided to skip it since, and haven't missed it at all.

I watch it and enjoy it. This season I think they're putting people and thier enemies in the house.

I finally saw a promo for the show, it starts July 5th. I am guessing they will go in the house Monday.

Could you guys please stop with the crappy shows? They always feel the need to copy all those dumb US reality shows like Big Brother, The Bachelor, Temptation Island, ... here in Belgium. Nothing but crap on TV all the time :wall:

Big Brother is hit and miss. It's either the worst thing ever on TV, or fun to watch depending on the personalities on the show. I'll give it two episodes to see.

Though I can totally understand someone hating this show, and at the same time understand someone else loving it.

Right now my only reality TV shows are Top Chef (does anyone else eat a fourth meal while watching this?) Mythbusters and Man vs Wild (both aren't quite what you think of with reality shows)

Is Top Chef similar to Hell's Kitchen or Next Food Network Star?

There's not an idiot that screams at people like Hell's kitchen, and it's not as consumed with how the chef's look on camera. It is superior to the two you mentioned.

A couple of years ago there was a good article from Salman Rushdie on Big Brother. Never saw the show, and I guess it doesn't sound like the type of thing I would want to see it, based on what Rushdie says.

Not at all...

Top Chef is decent chef's who devise their own meals under certain rules and time constraints using specified ingredients....

They are then judged on inventiveness/quality/ability to work with others/and presentation....in front of a panel of judges....

The level of food concieved and cooked far outweighs anything that fool from HK can possible dream of....
