Anybody order the 2nd production run of EMCE's Kirk? If so, have you noticed any differences between the 1st run? Is the 2nd run's head as tanned as the 1st run?

I just saw 3 of them in my local Hastings. They don't seem to be as tan.

On the second run, the shirt is more gold and the face is less tan.
Sunday I will post a side by side of first issue and second issue.

Cool! Those are the two changes I was hoping were going to be made on the second run.

As mentioned above, are these new Kirks out now Doc??
If so, now is my time to buy the seconds ones to be loose.

When will Spock and McCoy with corrected sleeves be out??

Not yet - Spock with gold bands should be arriving by spring - if all goes well.

Will the shirts be a more vivid blue? The only quibble with EMCE Spock and McCoy for me was the lighter blue shirts.

The shirt on the one on the right does look a little more gold. Looks like a new insignia too. Thank you for the pic.

I think the one on the left is the new one....it has the funky collar like Uhura and Scott.

The right one looks like the new one, it has a more gold shirt and he is not as tan as Doc said. Besides, the left one looks too yellow with the flash just like the first batch did.

On the left side I have one (China made in 2007) that doesn't look good with brighter yellow shirt and it has the funky black collar like LT. Uhura and Scottie BUT on the right side is correct little more gold shirt (like the original Mego Capt. Kirk) with correct black collar looks MUCH better than the left side one!

I like the 2nd one on the right side with slight small insignia looks good to me, I recommended it.

BTW, I like the 2nd Kirk one (right side) with normal face skin color, looks much better! Thanks for upgraded 2nd Capt. Kirk for us and thanks for posted pic here for us to see it. :)

The left one is the first issue (August 1, 2007) the right one was just received
(December 2008) - they are available right now for immediate delivery along
with Mego Museum cards (of my choosing) as a free gift.

Do the 2nd run Kirks have the same card backs as the first runs with the dates on the backs of when the figures are coming out?

I just got my 2nd run Kirk from FAO, it looks a lot better color wise then the 1st run.
The 2nd run Kirk and 2nd run Klingon also have the feet spacers like the newer figures do.

You're lucky....My Local FAO Shwarz (NYC) were all sold out of Cap'n kirks. However, one of the reps told me that he believes that the Cap'n Kirk they had was from the 1st issue. He also stated that the Emce ST:figures were selling very well....mostly to adult collectors. As he was restocking the pegs for the Emce ST section; Wow!!! I swear there were at least 15 carded figures on each peg (villians + good guys....I've never seen so many Star Trek figures at once like that) and all for $9.99 @. I picked up Uhura and Mugato (two for$20)....Great deal!!! :juggleyes_y:

You're Absolutely right, And it does'nt hurt that i live a Jump, Hop and skip from the FAO SCHWARZ in Midtown Manhattan. However, Kirk was soldout at the store ...so i had to get him and the Klingon at FAO.com :smiley1:

OH, I almost forgot, This 2nd edition Cap'n kirk has the gold bars.......Yiipee!!!
