I ordered my (non Earlybird) Captain Action figure from Cast-A-Way a month or two ago and have yet to receive it. Is anyone else still waiting? I would love for him to show up in time for Christmas :xmas-smiley-016:

Why do you send David Lee a Private message about this. He is very good at setting things right and his custom service is second to none.

All in the mail folks... we had quite a few to send out, and I am happy to say they are all in the mail! Whew! I can sleep now...

Seriously, they have all been sent out Priority and should show up at your places this week... Any ordered from here on out will go as they are purchased. Mego store and Mego-Ville also will have them this week, as will Big Bad Toys Store and MidTown Comics for all you New Yorkers.

Gack send me an e-mail with your details... If you were an international order (we had a serious snafu, that's been fixed), it's already been sent. So that's you too Cap.

I ordered a Dr Eville (non EB) figure on 12/2/08. It's only been a week but I'm impatient anyways. I've been trying to get an update but nothing yet. If the figure looks as good in person as it does online (and I'm sure it will), it will be well worth the wait.

We don't miss anybody... it's on the way, and thanks so much for the order. I know you will dig the figure.

Please remember (and this is not directed at Doc Drako or anybody in particular):

Cast-a-Way Toys LLC is comprised of Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee.
So to re-cap:

CEO and Owners: Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee

China factory liaisons:Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee
Licensing:Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee
Distribution:Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee
Website management: Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee
Customer Service: Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee

and most improtantly... Shipping: Jason Schiermeyer and David Lee

Again this is not pointed at anyone, and for the most part the awesome Museum patronage is patient and appreciative. So I mainly post this for on-lookers and lurkers who order. If you expect things to ship faster than even most on-line retail chains, you might need to check your expectations.

I was unaware that Cast-A-Way was only 2 guys. Now I feel like a jerk for posting. I'm not being sarcastic or anything. I seriously thought it was more than 2 guys. For only 2 guys, you have some seriously cool stuff going on. Keep it up and I'll keep ordering.

:2thumbsup:

Thanks Doc, no need to apologize though... we get it all the time. I actually had a guy ask me to have my secretary set up a meeting at Toyfair :rotfl:

but I did want to make one glaring ommission right....

Anyone else have a problem getting their Standard Captain Action or Dr. Eville? Back in June I ordered both figures a few days apart (due to an on-line ordering glitch with the Captain Action figure). I got the Dr. Eville figure on December 1st, but still no Captain Action. I've e-mailed, PM,d and even called Castaway. No response. My guess is that the good old US Post Office lost the package containing Captain Action. This was to be a Christmas gift, but since I'm getting no feedback from Castaway I don't know if they have gotten my messages and are working on getting me a replacement, or if my messages just fell into a great black hole. I know Castaway is just a 2 man operation, but I'm concerned. I read in an earlier post that the standard figures are going fast and I don't want to miss out. Castaway - if you're working on my problem - thanks (and sorry for being a pest). If not - HELP!
