RC The Flash and Captain America

Here are my two customs, RC Captain America and The Flash that I'm sure are totally common place around here as most of you custom guys have them in your collections and are old hat and ho hum , but I like them.

My RC Captain America and needs his sheild, The Flash is done.

I've got a window box coming from MikeR for The Flash to put him in and I will do the same for Capatain America.

Looks good, but might I suggest getting a bigger head to fill up those cowls a little more. That would make these look even better

Yeah, I thought about that, I think The Alan Virdon head would look good, It has some heroic qualities to it.

As far as my CA goes, I also got a set of red oven mitts for it too, I'm still trying to decide between these gloves and the oven mitt.

Personally, I think the oven mitts are more Megolike. They don't necessarily look better, but they say "Mego" more than the regular gloves. So it depends on whether you're going for a more Mego accurate look or for what looks better

Nothing wrong with common customs, they make more sense to me than obscure characters. Nice work on these.

As far as the oven mitt versus plastic glove debate, I come down firmly in the colored hands camp.

Here he is with the oven mitts.

I could go as far as replacing his boots with his real Mego cap boots, but that I don't know...

Keep those boots and the oven mitts. What's the point of making a custom if it's gonna look exactly like the original?

Great customs!!! I would never have thought of removable masks for these guys, but it works great!!!
