I'm a huge fan of both Underworld flicks, and I like this trailer a lot...it's set back in day...not a modern setting.

I know, I know, no Kate Beckinsale...I don't think the character of Selene is present either...but I do LOVE Rhona Mitra...she's just as hot as Beckinsale.

Rhona is going to play Sonja, the vampire that started the feud between the Lycans and Vampires. The third movie takes place before Selene (Kate Beckinsale).

Oh heck no...this is a big budget movie...it opens in theaters in January 23.

I loved the 1st 2 Films.
I am sure I will enjoy this one as well...
I am however A Bit dissapointed at the direction of the franchise,.. inwhich they wanted to go back in time & tell a story, rather than starting with where they left off in the second film.

Yeah she is,funny thing is that she was married to Lucian (The Main Wolf) first and left him for the director. Poor guy,sucks to be him

I just saw this..
Came out on DVD on Tues.
I liked it alot,.. it's great to see where everything had started..
But I do like the 1st 2 Better.
I love this world that was created...., Hopefully they will make more.

Watched this last week. I was pleasantly surprised! Having Lucien (Michael Sheen) and Victor (can't think of his name) reprise their roles was key I think. I liked the new chick. She is actually a good actress, which is often hard to find for these action flicks. Overall, I hate to say it, but as a movie, I think I liked this one a bit better, despite Beckinsale's absence (I think that was her doing the voice over at the beginning). I think the time period fits the genre better. I do wish some of the action sequences weren't so muddy and vague. A common complaint from me about modern movies though.

Yup I have to agree this movie was really good but it got lost releasing it in January. It might have done better as a late summer release.....
