Ah, I didn't realize that.
I don't see how anyone could bare to sell it....and am kinda surprised it didn't sell the first time. I know it is a lot, but I also know there are quite a few fat pocketed Megoheads out there. :p

Unfortunately you would need the right collector who really wants this to shell out that kind of money. I wish him luck.

Thanks, you beat me to it! I intended to post here to let everyone know. THANK YOU.
In terms of why I'm selling - I have to. Things have happened here that have caused me to sell a lot of my POTA collection. One of which was the death of a parent who I took care of for years. I've so far stuck to mostly non-MEGO stuff. But have sold the odd piece or extra unopened figure from my collection. Just recently I had an unpunched Galen carded figure up - which didn't sell. I still have a boxed Burke and, I think an Ursus. The costume is something I can't fit in anymore (damn!) and it's a shame to just leave it packed away.
It holds memories, especially of my mom, who is the one who passed recently ( she was the one who went with me to the Toy Fair ) but it's time I think.

Thanks guys for the kind words. I have to say due to me past experiences with message boards, and fans, working as a consultant for DVD releases Ive had some very unpleasant experiences. Fans of anything can get very....*****y and snide.
Since I've visited here it's been a complete 360 degree spin and completely positive - from when I first posted to surprise visit from two great MEGO-ites who without realizing it help bring me out of a deep funk I was in. Their wonderment and pure sense of joy brought back wonderful memories and aided in flushing out current ones. I think its because our passion for the MEGO products are connected with fond times and even better days. We can loose sight of that with all that happens on our way but MEGOS bring it back with not only memories but seasons, sights and even smells. That transportation to that safe haven is, I think, what we all can say happens when we hold that special figure or accessory.
Jessica brought me here, and for that she will always be my MEGO Angel. She flew in just when I needed it.
