I just got some samples of the new female body in caucasian skin color.
You will be able to examine it more closely if you open the new Uhuras!

She has an added feature, beside solid legs that will never crack!
The hips can be snapped in for a more girlish figure or left out for
that MILF look!

How many more Mego figures would have survived if they had done the knee and lower arms like you did? How many with mint suits, boots and heads were discarded because of broken forearms and separated knees that we all fix quickly today? Love the "Baby's got back", or no she doesn't option too. Another excellent looking job. Let the female customs begin.

China is working on them now - as soon as I get a delivery date, you guys will know.

The girls come naked and headless - but I was playing around with a SANFORD PERMANENT MARKER and found it will color the blonde hair black or red. Don't use
a Sharpie marker - it doesn't dry properly.

The head is already available at Dr. Mego's Repros (http://www.drmego.com) - it is under HEADS.

It is the Mego Supergirl head - I can sell it because it's just a blonde girl
there is nothing character specific about her. The funny thing is that
Mego used the same face for Batgirl and Wonder Woman too.

I already have ordered and received 4 of these babies. My only concern was upon removing one from the bag, I simply turned one of the legs to inspect the new hip connection and the little plastic hook in the hip immediately snapped and the rubber band shot up into her torso. :smiley1: It luckily wasn't that big a deal considering I had already intended to dissect one of the 4 I ordered to use in cobbling together a prototype body for my Joker I'm working on.
Other than that little surprise, I have nothing but praise for these great new figures. They're awesome!

That happened to me with one of mine.

Both hip pins are shot. I asked Doc if he had replacements, but I haven't heard back from him.

The figure is strung all wrong, and waaaaayy too tightly. The legs pop apart when it is posed in a sitting position, but that is the only beef I have with it.

What is wrong is that the double ended rubber band is folded over, placed on the arm hook, and then threaded onto the hip hook.

The vintage figures were threaded from side to side, and it was easier to put the arms into different positions.

If I get new hip pins, I am going to restring it the RIGHT way.

No blame on Doc, this is how it's done in China.
