anyone else get the CHILLER channel ?

If this was talked about in the past, I appologize but I didn't see the post.

For the last few months I started getting a new channel in my cable line-up.
The Chiller channel or just Chiller.

    It's not bad,
Only prob, they play the same shows over and over.
Example, they must have played the Night Stalker "Chopper" episode about 60 times in 1 week.
They do the same with Friday the 13th the series.

Movies aren't bad, but I wish they would favour the older pre-80 movies.

They do show oldies now and then.

    Anyone else get Chiller ?

Here in Canada we get "Scream," which is the same idea. They show a pretty good selection of newer, older and obscure movies. We also get "Drive In Classics" which is a b-movie channel. They show a lot of horror movies. Fridays are monster movie night as I recall. Mondays are kung-fu movies.

I get it. Not bad. Reminds me of the early days of Sci-Fi, when they showed old 60s-80s related shows. I find something on there to watch on occasion.

We get Chiller. I've got it set to record The Night Stalker. Funny how a show that scared the tar out of me when I was a kid makes my kids laugh. They roared at the reptile monster! Anyways, I like Chiller at lot, but I agree, it would be nice to see some older horror movies...

I get it too. I got hooked when they showed the Universal stuff late at night.

We had the Chiller channel before I even noticed it since it was one of the higher up channels. Seems like the really good movies and tv series are on late at night. I did like the double feature that they did with House of Dark Shadows and Night of Dark Shadows about a month ago.

I had it for a few months when it debuted on DirecTV last year...until we switched back to cable....one of the few things I miss about the dish..."Night Gallery" was a favorite.

I'll give them credit for coming up with something different for a Thanksgiving Day marathon. They'll be showing The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Seems like they run the older movies late at night/early in the morning.

I don't like that Chiller edits the movies they show (both for content and run time), but they do show some oldies and goodies.

Just watched a movie called Hunger on Chiller the other day.

Where does Chiller get them $1.98 budget trash movies ?
