Hey guys. Where's a good place to get a decent Batman head? I have been to customlabs and reproheads already. Both have great stuff, just not what I am looking for. I bought one from Brian Leitner on ebay a couple of months ago, but its just not quite right either. I am looking for a cross between Jim Aparo and Neil Adams. Can anyone post some of their Batman customs to givre me some ideas whats out there?
Thanks,
K

Try this site: http://www.geocities.com/aquatroy/Mego.html There's a nice Batman 70's style that might be what you are looking for.

Post a pic of the Batman you are trying to create, and we'll be able to help you more.

Troy Younger's is probably the best suited for what you are looking for from your description(Aparo/Adams). A pic may be helpful, though.

Thanks for the pic and the hints about the websites. The problem is I don't have a set look I was going for. Just one of those things that when I see it I'll know. I like that pic posted by The Bat. But I like the balck and grey look over the blue and grey. I'll probably pic one up and paint it black to see how it looks.
Thanks to all,
K

I also have a more "animted" style head.

This head is made to fit the old Aurora model kits, but someone used it for a 9" custom

Very cool. Does anyone know who created the following head? I copied it a while ago and can't remember where I found it.

It's Captain Mego's...I had bought it once, and it's looks too small on a Mego Body...so I sold it.

I actually bought that head but didn't really like the smile. I was looking for the dark knight look.

I couldn't agree more. It would be cool to have a Character of the month as well as the Customser of the month section.
I think using the electrical tape for the symbol is brilliant. I never would have thought of that. I love this place for all the help and tips.

Thanks! And If You find it too difficult to do it "free-Hand"...you could make Yourself a Stencil. Use a Heavy Stock Paper(two-ply Bristol Board), and draw the Symbol on first...then cut it out with an Exzacto Knife. Instant Stencil!:)
