^ Oh, I had tons of those carded AHI toys, like the gyro batcycle and all the parachute guys like that one! Little money and tons o' fun!

I always enjoyed parachute guys growing up. I can't even count how many I must have lost in trees and power lines. I've gotten Spidey and Hulk (without parachutes) somehow since starting to collect Megos. I suspect they came in lots or through friendly extras tossed in through trades with members.

Yeah, those were always a lot of fun. Better for outdoors rather than indoors.

Yeah, I had Spiderman and Batman as a kid.
Seems like I always had problems with the string getting tangeled and folding the parachute the right way so it would fit in their back for another go.
Folding those things was like trying to fold a mag back up.
That looks like a really sharp one, can understand why you're excited.

Awesome! I had Spidey, Batman, Superman and Captain America. I found a Cap (no parachute of course) at a flea market a few years back, and my Grandmother found my Spider-Man at her house a few years ago! He was left behind for 25 years!
I love AHI's card art. It's so off-model. Spidey always looks like he's wearing a thick quilted matress for a costume. Style guide art sucks.

I only had that Spiderman myself. Still have it although I lost the parachute when I was a kid. I also cut the plastic supports off of his shoulders after I lost the parachute so he didn't feel like a mutant playing with the other heroes.

I remember having one of those when I went to visit my great grandmother in Ohio. I had my Big Wheel with me, and I remember riding it, with the parachute Spider-Man in on hand, using it kind of like a drag chute.
Those things were all kinds of fun, but I seem to remember they were made of a pretty hard and heavy plastic, that could really hurt if it hit you in the head.

Congrats. Those bring back such fun memories. I used to stuff a couple of them into a slurpee cup and throw them in the air. Many slurpee cups were trashed that way.

Loved these things, can't remember how many of them I purchased at the Ben Franklin down the street. I went through them so fast. My problem was that they'd either get stuck in a tree, or they'd land on the pavement too hard and the brittle plastic would break. I seem to recall that I mainly owned Spideys and Cap. Americas mostly.
