When Keanu says "DOC-TOR!" in that restaurant scene in Bram Stoker's Dracula and pulls the audience right out of that movie and back into Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.

To Be Honest,.. I can't take any Monster Movie Serious thats been outdated, or from a certain time period. I just think they are all Funny. & I have no interest in Watching "Slasher" flicks either,.. If you have scene 1, you have definately scene them all.
I like Danny Glover's Line in Predator 2. When they are Hanging like 35 stories above on the side of the Building,..
"Ok P_$$y-Face ,... your Move. "
It always makes me Laugh for Some reason.
Ryan Renolds & Triple H say some real funny Stuff Back & Forth With Each other in Blade 3 too.
Or Sameul L. Jackson's Line in The Deep Blue Sea .
"Yeah ??? Well if He is so Brilliant, Why is He Pi$$ing in the Wind ?" Thats Great,..

Oh man, you got to be kidding me. When Regan speaks like Karras's mother, it chills the hell out of me (including that shot of Karras's mother Regan's bed).
For funny Horror movies I think of Evil Dead 2 and Braindead. Unintentionally funny I think of John Carpenter's The Thing. Not that it isn't a great movie but some of the over the top happenings are funny.
And Kurt Russell thought so too, he was busting a gut in the commentary track when The Thing's (disguised as someone having a heart attack) chest caves in and chomps off the arms of the Doctor trying to revive him with the paddles.
Then the head pops off and grows spider legs and tried to run off before getting torched.

That's a great scene...the spider human head one...lol.
One of the dude's says something along the lines of "You gotta be F'ing kidding me!"
Both disturbing and funny at the same time.

Coming in late to this thread but the funniest scene had to be in the Evil Dead when the severed hand runs around and ends up flipping the bird at the hero. I fell off of my chair...

My favorite Ash line is from Army of Darkness:
"You know two things, jack and $%@+, and jack just left town."
I still use that from time to time.

I like the scene in Jurrask park where the T-Rex is chasing the jeep and Dr malcome askes if that will be on the dinosaur tour.
The scene in the original Dawn of The Dead where the bikers come in the mall and they start through pies and shooting seltzer in the zombies faces.

If it is a true Horror film then it cannot possibly be funny.
I wonder what a good shrink would make of people who laugh at something that is truly horrific.?
Just keep telling yourself, it's just a film. :terror:

Depends on your sense of humour and feelings towards humanity as a whole....

IMO, the all-time funniest scene in a horror movie is when Henry and Otis go to buy a TV from the fence in Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer. While not supposed to be funny by any stretch, it is 100% comedy gold.
Fence: You can't get colour for $50.
Henry: That doesn't matter. What do you got?
Fence: Whaddya want? Cable ready? Remote control? UHF? You want a 13 inch? You want a 19 inch?
[looks at Otis and extends arm]
Bet you'd love a 19 inch.
CLASSIC! :smiley1:

Abbot and Costello meet Frankenstein — Lon Chaney says, " when the moon is full, I become a wolf."
Costello says under his breath, "you and a million other guys."
classic film.

Hey,
Night of the Creeps is a great comedy horror film. Two great lines come to mind:
1) When the detective realized that the patrol officer lost a body: "Do I need to go on poo patrol with my nightstick?"
2) "Good news girls - your dates are here.
What's the bad news.
Their Dead!!"

Although I love The Thing and I think it's a great film,
there are some things that make me chuckle in it.
Some of them are funny 'cause they are so disgusting.
I always laugh when the guy splits in two and tries
to ingest the other guy while holding him over his head.
There something really comical about it.
But it's still one of my fav horror films.

Funny-funny or unintentionally humorous?
The Abominable Dr. Phibes gets my vote for a great horror film leavened by humor. It just skirts being campy & has great style. The concept of the film is really quite brutal & gruesome--like Seven.

The first ten minutes of Transylvania 6-5000. The rest of the movie is crap, but the opening is great.

It opens at night with a beautiful young woman running for her life through the woods. She keeps looking back and you see Jason, Leatherface and Freddie stalking her. Finally she runs into a cave and the baddies follow her. The camera shot remains outside but you can hear all kinds of horrible noises inside. Finally, there is silence, the woman walks out of the cave carrying, a chainsaw, an axe and wearing Freddie's hat. She smiles at the camera displaying a lovely set of fangs and giggles, "Amateurs."
If is freakin' funny.
