I read somewhere that the reason the Superboy cartoons were not included on the upcoming Superman Filmation DVD release is that there are some legal issues between Time Warner and the Jerry Siegel estate. I guess that explains why no other seasons of the live action Superboy have been released on DVD either.
I hope there are no legal problems regarding the DC Heroes cartoons of 1967. I'd like to see them with Aquaman.
Cheers.

I think poor sales on Season 1 had something to do with it as well...

The Seigel estate successfully won the rights to Superboy fairly recently, so DC has to pay to use the name.

So, instead of paying for the rights, DC killed off all mention of SUperboy in the comics and stopped all dvd sales. What a nice bunch of guys.
