I just saw the commercial. I know a lot of you will want it!

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

When and where did you see a commercial for this? I wouldn't mind seeing this. I wish it were on youtube.

    Cheers.

Hmmm...I think I was watching CSI on Spike when I saw it. BTW you can see some eps of Filmation Batman on AOL IN2TV.

I saw it on Spike today as well. I actually heard the commercial and ran to the tv. Later, while driving with my wife, I yelled, "OH! Guess what?" I told her about the DVDs and she said "Don't ever scare me like that again. I thought something was happening." She didn't understand. Something IS happening. The New Adventures Of Batman on DVD.

I got both sets. I thought I'd like the Batman ones more but Superman seems to be far superior of a show.

I think as a kid I really liked Bat Mite. Now I just want him to die every episode. He's like the Jar Jar Binks of the 70's. Still, its charming and the art on it is very nice. It sort of looks like an animated Carmine Infantino style.

I'll definetly get the Superman set at some point but I was disapointed that
the Batman set is the series with Bat Mite. I couldn't stand those back in the
'70s. The only thing that kept me watching was that Adam West and Burt Ward did the voices. Hopefully the earlier Filmation Batman cartoons will turn
                up on DVD.

I ran out and bought new adventures yesterday, I loved this series as a kid, I'm really trying to figure out why that was now. Must be the obvious mego connections to the series.

It's not a train wreck but I'm sure glad I have kids so I can justify the purchase. It's so safe I don't have to worry about them watching it.

We've got a boot of the New Adventures of Batman. Andrew loves it, and calls it the "na na na na Batman cartoon". He either gets out his Megos or his DC Direct Silver Age Batman and Robin when we watch it. I'll have to get the official release. I'll also get Superman, even though it's my least favorite of the Filmation DC toons, it still captures the Wesinger era Supes well. And if it sells, maybe we'll get Aquaman, and the Teen Titans/JLA shorts, and 68 Batman, as well as Filmation's Shazam! (both live and animated).

I remember being a kid in NYC in the summertime, watching the Superman cartoon along w/ Aquaman and Superboy, when I came home from day camp every week day. Ahhh....memories.
