The obscure-- hardly played, fourth season of "Twilight Zone"

I put Twilight Zone in quotes because the fourth season was officially the start of when "THE" was removed from the title.

For people who don't know, these are THE HOUR episodes........

Anybody have an fav's from this season ?

Mine is .......

The Parallel......
Gerry Anderson ripped off this episode BIG TIME....... also SLIDERS

On Thursday We Leave For Home.....
This actually could have been a decent theatrical MOVIE.
Whitmore did a fantastic job........ and it was nice seeing a young "Dr Huer"

In His Image......
Good story

The Bard.......
A fun story......

...........

a few clunkers ......

He's Alive .......
Story seemed written too quickly...
Ending was totally foreseeable......
Nice guest-cast though--- including Dennis Hopper

Death Ship.......
Klugman was fantastic as usual, but the story itself was just lame.

That whole season is lamentable to me, everything is so padded, often times making the ending dull.

"On Thursday we Leave for Home" is probably the only memorable one in the lot for me.

I love On Thursday We Leave For Home.
The names of 2 of them I really like escape me at the moment, but the one w/ the telepathic girl "Ilsa Nielson" and the one where the guy discovers he's an android when trying to seek his past.

Those are "Mute" and "In His Image"

I'm not a big fan of the hour eps....it's always a let down when they show them during the Sci-Fi TZ marathon (next one coming up July 4th). But my favs are:

In His Image
Miniature
Printer's Devil (gotta love Burgess Meredith)
Incredible World of Horace Ford
The Bard
Of Late I Think of Cliffordville (gotta love Julie Newmar)
The New Exhibit
On Thursday We Leave For Home

As much as I love The Twilight Zone, I have to concur - the majority of the hour-long eps weren't very good.

True. I get bored after about fifteen minutes with most of them.

Sci-Fi's annual Fourth of July TZ Marathon seems to be heavy with the hour long episodes this year...which is a shame because since the holiday falls on a Wednesday it's not as long as a marathon as it would be if it fell on a weekend, and several of the classic half-hour shows are nowhere to be seen. To add insult to injury, they interrupted it for ECW Wrestling last night and several infomercials overnight...
