Why does every MEGO Case have a stain under Aquaman?

Some pics look to have a strip in that area.
Is it an adhesive? And will every case have it?

It's a piece of double-sided tape between the paper and the vinyl. For some reason, non-drying adhesives cause vinyl to exude an oily residue.

This seems to be quite common. Another one of those stamina issues like bluing on RCB's face. It appears to be from adhesive. There is a piece of tape behind the sheet. I haven't seen one without the grease spot yet.
