The Witches Castle (http://www.megomuseum.com/woz/witchcastle.html) from Wizard of Oz is our Mego of the day. This playset which was exclusive to Sears, started out life in a different form, as a proposed playset for the Mego Super Knights (http://www.megomuseum.com/legend/skknights.html).

I am a fan of the WoOZ line and the castle would be a nifty item to add to the collection. But space and cost have kept me from indulging in mego playsets to this point.

It took me forever to find one of these MIB. I really like this playset with the cauldron and staff. But you can see the Knights influence on the insides.
I think it should have come with a flying monkey figure the way the Mayor came with the OZ Farmhouse.

This is my favorite playset of all time. A beautiful piece, and looks awesome with the jousting horse and the Legends figures from Robin Hood and the Knights.

I want one even though I don't own a sole Oz piece and probably won't. It'd just be nice to display the knights line in, of course, I also would require a bigger house....

I wonder what the production costs were on these cardboard and vinyl sets. I would love to get one of these, but it seems hard to find one in good shape.

Ditto with the other comments. It would've immediately become Camelot for the Knights.
